"A Little Bit About Myself...
I am a largely self-taught artist who paints purely for pleasure. However I reached a stage several years ago where I was becoming overwhelmed with finished canvases I didn't have room to display, and so started to sell them at local craft fairs and Christmas stalls. Since then I have had work displayed in local shops and as part of a local artist exhibition at Aim for Art gallery in Central Milton Keynes. Currently the majority of my work is on display at True Bliss Holistics in Milton Keynes, upstairs from White Label Hairdressing and can be purchased on site as well as through this website.
I have a deep interest in literature and various pagan mythologies, and hold an MA in English as well as an MA in the Classics. Although I do not align myself with any particular religious faction, my spirituality largely aligns with paganism and this combined with my fascination with different mythologies elicits a strong visual influence in my artwork. The Feminine is a recurrent theme in many of my paintings, and can be seen emerging as interpretive images of the Goddess and her symbols of the hare and the moon."
